IAA 2009 - time runs backwards

I tested 2007 in Monaco a Renault Kangoo Cleanova II. 150 km electric only range, an innovativ engine combining serial and paralell hybrid. Some month later at the IAA a Volvo with 4 wheel hub engines. This was progress pure.

2 years later at the IAA 2009 cultural shock at the booth from Volvo. The 4 wheel hub engines disappeared, what is standing there is more a retrofit pack for existing cars. Runs time in the wrong direction? Nothing on the IAA 2009 has been comparable with the Renault Kangoo Cleanova II.

2009 Has the old car industry chances against newcomers?
	The fossil car industry tries to continue with fossil cars as long as possbile. Gives this new producers the possibility to establish successfull in the market?

	When mass media conceal dramatic news about the oil production prognoses, than this is fraud at the car cuxstomer.

	Within a few month a drastic change in prognoses. From the ''No problem'' McKinsey study up to the destruction of the European car industry.

Prognosis IEA and Energy Watch Group
	The prognosis of the Energy Watch Group from autumn 2007 about the decrease of oil production is wastepaper. The new IEA data from August 2009 are much harder.

	Time runs backwards, the fair of destoied hopes. Nothing shown reaches only nearly the Renault Kangoo Cleanova 2 tested by me 2007.

	In this style, I would imagine a refit package for existing cars. In front the ICE with front wheel drive, in addition an electric engine for the rear wheels.

	Outside the 50km electric range, a 5 cylincer Diesel with automatic produces 183 g CO2/km. To compare this, the newest version of my Seat Alhambra is at only 159 g CO2/km.
